Teach Agency are working with a number of Secondary Schools in and around the Chatteris area of Cambridgeshire who are looking for teachers to start work as soon as possible after the Easter break.

This work can be anything from 1 day to 5 days a week and would suit qualified secondary teachers who are seeking flexible working or maybe seeking an income boost.

We are seeking to appoint a pool of secondary teachers across all subjects that are able to easily adapt as you maybe requited to cover up to 5 different subjects per day depending on the requirements of the school.

Teach Agency are delighted to be working with a reputable Secondary School based in Cambridgeshire who are seeking to appoint dynamic and driven Maths Teacher. This role is a maternity cover contract to commence at the beginning of May and will last for 12 months.

The successful Maths Teacher will be required to plan, deliver maths lessons to a high standard and be able to mark and assess students in KS3 and KS4. 

As a Maths Teacher you will

  • Be passionate about teaching with the ability to deliver lessons to a high standard. 
  • Be up to date on best practices in maths education and be able to incorporate them into lessons to help students learn.
  • Understand the multiple ways of  solving a problem and use alternate strategies to help students at different levels to grasp different concepts.
  • Be able to assess the progress and behaviour of pupils and provide support or take action where necessary.

Requirements

Teach Agency are currently seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate Computer Science Teacher to join their client's vibrant forward-thinking Secondary School based in Cambridgeshire.

This is a temporary role to commence after Easter and will last the course of the summer term.

Your responsibilities as a Computer Science Teacher will include:

  • Supporting students with Computer Science from KS3 to KS5.
  • To support a high standard of learning, development and care for children at secondary level.

Teach Agency are currently looking to appoint suitably experienced Cover Supervisors in and around the Cambourne, Cambridgeshire area to start ASAP. These roles will be on a day to day supply basis with some roles being on a longer term supply basis.

Your role as a Cover Supervisor will be to oversee Secondary School  classes across a number of subjects during short term absences of teaching staff.

You will be expected to manage student behaviour and keep students focused and on task. You should be have a high level of energy, excellent inter-personal skills, have a desire to work with young people and have a calm and authoritative manner.

Requirements

  • Recognised Teaching Qualification, PGCE or equivalent QTS.
  • Experience of working in a UK classroom and of teaching to the UK KS1 curriculum.
  • Flexible approach to working and an ability to get to local schools in the morning.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and an ability to create a positive learning experience for the pupils in your class.
  • Able to complete on the day marking to the requirements of the school.
  • Outstanding organisational skills.

Additional Requirements

  • Current Enhanced DBS registered with the DBS Update Service, or are willing to apply for a new one.

Teach Agency currently have an exciting opportunity to appoint an enthusiastic and creative Teacher of Drama for KS4 & KS5 for our client's popular, over-subscribed Academy based in Cambridgeshire.

This is a permanent position to commence at the beginning of April and will be on a ongoing contract basis. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for KS4 and KS5 Drama classes with planning, preparation and marking responsibilities,

The successful Teacher of Drama you will be required to:

  • Have experience teaching Drama to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). 
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Secondary teachers.
