1:1 Teaching Assistants

We are seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our fclient’s friendly and supportive primary school in Bedford. This role will commence after Easter until the end of July and is ideal for someone who is committed to helping children overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored one-to-one support for a child with additional needs.

• Assist in delivering personalised learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO.

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

• Support the child’s social and emotional development.

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.

• Understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable but not essential.

• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
