Teach Agency are looking to appoint a passionate and committed Year 3 Teacher to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local “GOOD” rated primary school based in St Neots. These roles are available throughout our client schools in the Cambridgeshire region and in some cases can lead to permanent positions. 

This role would be suitable for any QTS candidates however our client schools will also consider Higher Level Teaching Assistants or Unqualified Teachers with immediate availability. The ideal candidate must have a desire to work with young people and have a calm and authoritative manner.

Main duties include:

  • Supervising the cover work set by the absent Teacher.
  • Ensuring the children have the required resources and knowledge to complete the work set by the teacher. 
  • Managing the behaviour of pupils during the lesson to ensure all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Being on hand to assist with any question the children may have regarding the work. 
  • Collecting completed work after lesson and returning it to the appropriate teacher/department. 

Requirements:

  • Educated to Degree level is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience of working with children within a school setting (Ideally secondary).
  • Have strong classroom management skills.
  • Be entitled to work in the UK.

We are looking for a dynamic and driven Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Lower KS2 for their client's popular Primary School located within Cambridgeshire. 

This reputable Primary School has been over-subscribed for a number of years and boasts excellent learning facilities from children arriving in school from surrounding areas. This school celebrates every child and promotes an inclusive learning environment.

The role of a Teaching Assistant will be working Monday-Friday term time only supporting pupils from 8:45-15:15 with 30 minutes for lunch. This opportunity is to begin following the October half term (30th October 2023) and will initially be on an ongoing basis withe the possibility of becoming permanent at a later date. 

The successful Teaching Assistant will

Teach Agency are delighted to be working with a reputable Secondary School based in Cambridgeshire who are seeking to appoint dynamic and driven Maths Teacher. This role is a maternity cover contract to commence at the beginning of November and will last for 12 months.

The successful Maths Teacher will be required to plan, deliver maths lessons to a high standard and be able to mark and assess students in KS3 and KS4. 

As a Maths Teacher you will

  • Be passionate about teaching with the ability to deliver lessons to a high standard. 
  • Be up to date on best practices in maths education and be able to incorporate them into lessons to help students learn.
  • Understand the multiple ways of  solving a problem and use alternate strategies to help students at different levels to grasp different concepts.
  • Be able to assess the progress and behaviour of pupils and provide support or take action where necessary.
  • Support the leadership to implement the school's development plan.
  • Have the ability to create a dynamic and inspiring learning environment. 
  • Have a good level of empathy and patience.    

Requirements

  • QTS or equivalent.
  • Have strong subject knowledge.
  • Ability to teach Maths curriculum in KS3 and KS4.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills 
  • Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to process a new application.
  • Have a right to work in the U.K
  • Be able to provide 2 professional teaching references.
