Teach Agency are delighted to be working with a reputable Secondary School based in Cambridgeshire who are seeking to appoint dynamic and driven Maths Teacher. This role is a maternity cover contract to commence at the beginning of May and will last for 12 months.

The successful Maths Teacher will be required to plan, deliver maths lessons to a high standard and be able to mark and assess students in KS3 and KS4. 

As a Maths Teacher you will

  • Be passionate about teaching with the ability to deliver lessons to a high standard. 
  • Be up to date on best practices in maths education and be able to incorporate them into lessons to help students learn.

Teach Agency are currently seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate Computer Science Teacher to join their client's vibrant forward-thinking Secondary School based in Cambridgeshire.

This is a temporary role to commence after Easter and will last the course of the summer term.

Your responsibilities as a Computer Science Teacher will include:

  • Supporting students with Computer Science from KS3 to KS5.
  • To support a high standard of learning, development and care for children at secondary level.
  • To ensure that the school is a safe environment for children, staff and others.
  • To support activities which ensure each pupil is working towards their learning goals.
  • To be a key person, keeping accurate assessments of children’s learning and progress.
  • To work in partnership with senior management to update and review the self-evaluation and improvement plans for each pupil.
  • Teaching lessons at an appropriate level to include all pupils, aiding their understanding of the subject.
  • Working closely with colleagues in the Computer Science department whilst coordinating lessons.

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Two education/school-based references.
  • You must either have an Enhanced DBS or be willing to process a new one as this is an essential requirement.
  • The ability to communicate with and inspire children of all abilities.
  • Have high expectations for teaching, learning and behaviour.
  • The ability to engage with pupils and make an immediate impact on the pupils learning.

Are you an exceptional Teacher of Science looking for your next dynamic role?

Teach Agency are working with a ‘GOOD' rated Academy School  based in Bedfordshire that are actively looking to appoint an inspirational Teacher of Science to join their established Science Faculty.

This role is ideal for experienced science teachers or an Early Career Teacher who has obtained a good degree in Science.. The successful candidate should be available to start at the beginning of April on an ongoing basis which is likely to last the full academic year.

Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Deliver a high standard of teaching to Key Stage 3 & 4.
  • Ability to create a highly energetic and motivating environment.
  • Provide lesson planning and preparation.
  • Evaluate and assess student's on a periodic basis. 
  • Provide a safe and healthy environment following safeguarding procedures.
  • Have excellent communication skills.

The ideal candidate for the role of a Science Teacher must have

  • Degree level education.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • The right to work in the UK.
