Teach Agency are looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant for our client’s primary school, located in Shefford, Bedfordshire.

The Role:
We are looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant, who is enthusiastic about working with children, committed to their development, and eager to make a positive impact in a primary school setting. This position will be on an ongoing basis with the possibility of becoming permanent at a future date.
Responsibilities:
• Supporting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
• Assisting pupils with their learning on an individual or small group basis.
• Providing support to children with additional needs, including SEN.
• Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Supporting the preparation of resources and materials for lessons.
• Promoting positive behavior and ensuring the well-being of all pupils.
Requirements:
• Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
• A caring, patient, and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• An understanding of safeguarding practices.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
