Teach Agency work closely with a number of secondary schools across Cambridgeshire to cover day-to-day and long-term supply work. The ideal candidate will be flexible, have a passion for teaching and a strong knowledge of the current KS3 and /or KS4 curriculum.

You may be available to work one day a week or up to five days a week, we provide work around your availability.

If you are a fully qualified teacher (NQT’s welcome) and have a passion for teaching we’d love to hear from you.

Requirements:

  • Relevant teaching qualifications (QTS, PCGE)
  • A confident individual with good classroom management skills
  • Adaptable to a wide variety of secondary school environments
  • Flexible – available for last minute and pre-planned cover

Design Technology (Resistant Materials) Teacher needed.
Teach Agency is working with a school on the outskirts of Cambridge to recruit a DT teacher who can teach resistant materials. This is a supply contract starting as soon as possible and running to the end of term in December, covering long-term sickness. Teaching KS3 and KS4, this is a full-time role with responsibilities for planning, preparation and marking. The successful teacher will also be required to attend meetings, training and parent evenings when necessary.
Requirements:

  • Recognised Teaching Status, PGCE or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year of teaching experience in the UK.
  • Experience of teaching Design Technology and Resistant Materials to KS3 and KS4.
  • Good classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and safe learning environment.
  • Outstanding organisational skills.
  • Current DBS registered with the Online DBS Update Service, or a DBS through our clearance procedures.
  • 2 x satisfactory professional references.

This is a full-time position with a GOOD school, there is the potential for this role to be extended into 2020.

Lateral Flow Testers – required for when schools return in March

Are you looking for flexible part-time work ?

Do you want a job that can fit in around school hours ?

Do you want to gain experience working within a school ? 

Teach Agency are working with a number of secondary school based in Cambridgeshire who are looking for a number of Lateral Flow Testers on a temporary basis. 

You will need to be an enthusiastic and energetic person with a helpful approach. The ideal candidates will support the schools in providing weekly COVID tests to school staff, initial tests for pupils as they return to school and then daily tests for identified contacts of people who have had positive laboratory tests for COVID. 

The tests delivered on school sites will be lateral flow tests which provide an outcome in 30 minutes.

Appropriate training and PPE will be provided for all roles.

Previous experience working with young people in an Education would be advantageous but not a necessity.

Teach Agency is working with an OUTSTANDING school in the Cambridge area to find a qualified Science Teacher for a long-term supply position. Located within an easy commute of Cambridge, this is a full-time, long term position, teaching science to KS3 and KS4. Starting in late September this role will run to the end of term in December.

Requirements:

–       Recognised Teaching Qualification, PGCE or equivalent.

–       Experience of working in a UK classroom, teaching to the national curriculum.
