Teach Agency are looking to recruit an Experienced Maths Teacher to join our client’s Secondary School based in Northamptonshire on a fixed term basis to start asap,

The successful Math Teacher will 

  • Be passionate about teaching with the ability to deliver lessons to a high standard. 
  • Be up to date on best practices in maths education and be able to incorporate them into lessons to help students learn.
  • Understand the multiple ways of  solving a problem and use alternate strategies to help students at different levels to grasp different concepts.. 
  • Have the ability to create a dynamic and inspiring learning environment. 
  • Have a good level of empathy and patience.

Requirements

  • QTS or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge.
  • Ability to teach Maths curriculum in KS3 and KS4.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills 
  • Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to process a new application.
  • Have a right to work in the U.K
  • Be able to provide 2 professional teaching references.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Humanities Teacher to join our client’s Secondary School based in Northamptonshire. This position is to start at the beginning of the new year in January on a long term basis with the possibility of leading to a permanent role. 

The ideal candidate will

  • Have a confident understanding of the curriculum for the Humanities subjects, and show a real passion for the subject.
  • Have the ability to inspire and motivate the next generation  with interactive and engaging lessons.
  • Have a proven record of teaching Humanities subjects in KS3 and KS4
  • Carry out assessment programmes as agreed by the department and school.
  • Have excellent classroom management skills and adhere to the school’s discipline systems.
  • Be keen to be part of the wider school community, assisting in extra-curricular activities.

To be considered for the role of a Humanities Teacher you will need to:  

  • Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Have U.K classroom based experience in a secondary school.
  • Hold a valid DBS or be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
  • Be entitled to work in the U.K.
  • Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.

Teach Agency are looking to recruit an ambitious, inspirational and open-minded Science Teacher to join our client’s dynamic academy in Rushden, Northamptonshire on a temporary ongoing basis contract. The ideal candidate should be available to start as soon as possible.

You will have the ability to teach Science up to Key Stage 4. Someone who has a real enthusiasm for the subject and who is capable of teaching across all Key Stages. The post would equally suit a newly qualified or experienced teacher who has obtained a good degree in Science.

Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Deliver a high standard of teaching to Key Stage 3 & 4.

Teach Agency are currently looking to appoint suitably experienced Cover Supervisors who will oversee classes during short term absences of teaching staff.

You will be expected to manage student behaviour and keep students focused and on task. You should be flexible, have a desire to work with young people and have a calm and authoritative manner.

We are looking for cover supervisors to cover all classes in a number of secondary schools within the Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire region  from KS3 through to KS5 You will need to have strong behaviour management skills and be passionate about teaching.

The positions are open to both graduates and experienced cover supervisors. Depending on performance the schools may look at either extending the contract or offering regular work.

Requirements

• Recent Graduate, with a 2:1 or higher

• Previous experience working in a UK school
