At Teach Agency we work closely with many secondary and primary  schools in the Cambridgeshire region who are facing staff shortages on a daily basis and are therefore looking for general supply teachers to register for short term teaching work.

We are proud of the fact that we have built solid relationships with mainstream primary, secondary and SEN schools within the region. Currently, we are seeing a significantly high demand for day to day  teaching work as schools are finding themselves inundated with planned and unplanned absences.

Working as a general supply teacher, you will have full flexibility over being available on a full time or part time basis. You will need to be a fully qualified teacher with U.K classroom experience looking for supply work to fit around your personal schedule.

This role is also ideal opportunity for teachers looking for an introduction to a longer term, more permanent position as we find general supply teaching can lead to a medium term placement if that is something you wish to pursue.

To be considered for Supply Teacher roles you will need to:

  • Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualifications
  • Have U.K Primary/Secondary School classroom experience.
  • Hold a valid DBS or be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
  • Be entitled to work in the U.K.
  • Be able to supply 2 x professional references, one being your most current employer.

If you are a committed and passionate practitioner that has the ability to engage pupils and this role sounds of interest please contact us.

All applicants will be contacted to discuss suitability and will then invited to register with Teach Agency.

Teach Agency are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Applicants will be required to undertake pre-employment checks, such as an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check.
