Teach Agency are actively seeking to appoint qualified Primary Supply Teachers to work across Primary Schools in and around Peterborough and become part of our existing pool of teaching staff to start in September 2023

We are looking for Primary Teachers who can work either day to day supply, sickness cover, as well as this we have opportunities for longer term contract cover work in all Primary year groups. These roles can be flexible to fit around your availability and our recruitment consultants will liaise closely to work around your individual needs.

Working as a Primary Supply Teacher offers the following benefits.

Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs?

These roles offer flexibility to candidates to work as little or as much as they prefer so it fits around their other commitments.

The role of a Teaching Assistant can be extremely varied depending on the nature of the requirement. You should therefore be adaptable & flexible in your approach.

The role of a Teaching Assistant could do any of the following:

  • Provide 1-1 support to a student with additional needs.
  • Provide support to a small group of students.
  • Work alongside the main class teacher to provide support to the whole class as needed.
  • Work in an SEN department to support several students.

Teach Agency are currently seeking to recruit an empathetic, dynamic and experienced SEND teacher to join our client's specialist partner SEND school, located in Peterborough. This is a temporary role to commence in September, initially on an ongoing basis with the view of becoming permanent in January 2024 for the right candidate.

Our partner school provides education to children  and young people with Autism diagnosis and are on an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) for such Autism Spectrum Disorders.

You must hold the QTS qualification to be suitable for this role and ideally have experience of supporting students with Special Educational Needs. In addition you will need to 

  • Demonstrate that you have good behavioural management skills.
  • Be able to provide a bespoke curriculum which is broad, balanced and relevant to each individual child's needs.
  • Have a positive and creative approach.
  • Be able to communicate effectively with staff, pupils, parents and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Have an Enhanced DBS and be on the update service.

Your role as a Cover Supervisor will be to oversee Secondary School  classes across a number of subjects during short term absences of teaching staff.

You will be expected to manage student behaviour and keep students focused and on task. You should be flexible, have a desire to work with young people and have a calm and authoritative manner.

We are looking for dedicated and flexible Cover Supervisors to cover all classes in a number of secondary schools within the Cambridgeshire region  from KS3 through to KS5 You will need to have strong behaviour management skills and be passionate about teaching.

The positions are open to both graduates and experienced cover supervisors. Depending on performance the schools may look at either extending the contract or offering regular work.

Requirements

  • Recent Graduate, with a 2:1 or higher
  • Previous experience working in a UK school
  • Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or be willing to process a new application.
  • Be entitled to work in the U.K.
