Cover Supervisor

Teach Agency are currently looking to appoint a suitably experienced Cover Supervisor who will oversee classes during short term absences of teaching staff.

You will be expected to manage student behaviour and keep students focused and on task. You should be flexible, have a desire to work with young people and have a calm and authoritative manner.

We are looking for a cover supervisor to cover all classes where needed for our client’s aspiring academy based in Bedford to start asap on an ongoing basis. 

This position is open to both graduates and experienced cover supervisors. Depending on performance the schools may look at either extending the contract or offering regular work.

Requirements

• Education to Degree level.
• Previous experience working in a UK school.
• Confidence to deliver planned lessons to students.
• Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or be willing to process a new application.
• Have a right to work in the U.K
• Be able to provide 2 professional teaching references.
