Cover supervisors

Teach Agency are a locally owned and run education recruitment agency, specialising in providing school teaching staff to educational establishments in and around Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire 

We have a dedicated team of experts that are proud to have established sound partnerships with primary, secondary and SEND local schools over the years. Our consultants have the expertise and work hard at ensuring that our client schools get the right candidates in roles at the right time that meet the expectations and aspirations of our candidates based on their individual circumstances. 

We are currently looking to appoint a pool of suitably experienced Cover Supervisors who will oversee classes during short term absences of teaching staff.

You will be expected to manage student behaviour and keep students focused and on task. You should be flexible, have a desire to work with young people and have a calm and authoritative manner.

We are looking for cover supervisors to cover all classes in a number of secondary schools within the Cambridgeshire region  from KS3 through to KS5 You will need to have strong behaviour management skills and be passionate about teaching.

The positions are open to both graduates and experienced cover supervisors. Depending on performance the schools may look at either extending the contract or offering regular work.

Requirements

• Recent Graduate, with a 2:1 or higher

• Previous experience working in a UK school

• Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or be willing to process a new application
