The successful candidate should be available to start as soon as possible on an ongoing basis.
The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will have
- A calm, patient and caring persona.
- Be able to motivate and support pupil(s) to remain on task and complete the work given.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience of working on a 1:1 and small group basis with students to support their education.
- The ability to use their own initiative to engage with pupils with complex needs.
