Teach Agency are currently looking to recruit Specialist Cover Supervisors across all subjects who will oversee classes during short term absences of teaching staff. We have a high demand for these roles across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.

We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic and creative Cover supervisors to start on a temporary basis, with the potential of progressing to permanent positions.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise the whole class during the absence of teachers, ensuring students are engaged in their learning activities and provide the best educational experience for students. You will also manage the class behaviour and provide feedback to the class teacher.

The successful candidate must

  • Supervise and deliver planned work.
  • Have strong curriculum based teaching experience for KS3 - KS5.
  • Ensure students are focused on pre-planned work.
  • Have good classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Be able to maintain a safe and positive learning environment at all times.
  • Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example.

Requirements

  •  Education to Degree level.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to process a new application.
  • Have a right to work in the U.K
  • Be able to provide 2 professional teaching references.

Teach Agency are looking for full-time SEN Teaching Assistants to add to their successful pool of supply staff to start ASAP within SEN Schools in the Cambridgeshire region.

We are looking for proactive TAs who will be engaging and flexible team players, supporting children with a wide range of needs, primarily Autism, from ages 4-11.

The role

  • Supporting small class sizes of 6 - 9 children.
  • Supporting a child on a 1:1 basis where required.
  • Providing a curriculum which is concrete, pictorial or abstract depending on the child/ children's needs under the supervision of a SEN Class Teacher.

To be successful as a SEN Teaching Assistant you must be:

  • A passionate and flexible practitioner.

  • Experience of working in a UK classroom and of teaching to the UK KS1/2 curriculum.
  • Flexible approach to working and an ability to get to local schools in the morning.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and an ability to create a positive learning experience for the pupils in your class.
  • Able to complete on the day marking to the requirements of the school.
  • Outstanding organisational skills.

Teach Agency are looking for a creative and inspiring Upper KS2 Primary Teacher for our client's welcoming, nurturing, and diverse school based in Sandy, Bedfordshire. 

This opportunity will commence at the beginning of the Summer Term in April and will be until the end of the school academic year in July.

The successful Upper KS2 Primary School Teacher will be part of a very dedicated and inspiring team that want to ensure that each of their pupil's  journey through primary school is an exciting and fun learning experience.

As a Upper KS2 Primary Teacher you will :-

  • Be creative and able to demonstrate a sound understanding of the national curriculum for KS2.
  • Share the schools’ commitment to achieving the highest possible standards for all their children.
  • Provide a safe and positive teaching experience that will encourage students to develop their skills and goals.
  • Have a strong grasp of assessment processes and can use this accurately to plan ‘next steps’ in learning..
  • Work well in a team, can establish good relationships with children and parents and are willing to fully participate in the school's ethos.

  • Have a degree and Qualified Teacher Status
