Teach Agency are currently seeking to recruit an empathetic, dynamic and experienced SEND teacher to join our client's specialist partner SEND school, located in Peterborough. This is a temporary role to commence in September, initially on an ongoing basis with the view of becoming permanent in January 2024 for the right candidate.

Our partner school provides education to children  and young people with Autism diagnosis and are on an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) for such Autism Spectrum Disorders.

You must hold the QTS qualification to be suitable for this role and ideally have experience of supporting students with Special Educational Needs. In addition you will need to 

  • Demonstrate that you have good behavioural management skills.
  • Be able to provide a bespoke curriculum which is broad, balanced and relevant to each individual child's needs.
  • Have a positive and creative approach.

Teach Agency are currently looking to appoint suitably experienced Cover Supervisors in and around the Bedfordshire region in time for the new academic 2023/24 year commencing in September. These roles will be on a day to day supply basis with some roles being on a longer term supply basis.

Your role as a Cover Supervisor will be to oversee Secondary School  classes across a number of subjects during short term absences of teaching staff.

You will be expected to manage student behaviour and keep students focused and on task. You should be flexible, have a desire to work with young people and have a calm and authoritative manner.

We are looking for dedicated and flexible Cover Supervisors to cover all classes in a number of secondary schools within the Cambridgeshire region  from KS3 through to KS5 You will need to have strong behaviour management skills and be passionate about teaching.

The positions are open to both graduates and experienced cover supervisors. Depending on performance the schools may look at either extending the contract or offering regular work.

Are you post graduate who has just completed their PGCE and are still  looking to secure a teaching position for September? If so, Teach Agency can assist you in starting  the next phase of your teaching career.

We are looking to fill a number of positions in our client mainstream primary and secondary schools based  in and around the Bedfordshire region that will be ideal for any Early Career Teacher which will enable you to gain invaluable classroom experience as well as offering flexibility.

The available roles  will commence asap and will vary from day to day supply to longer term contracts which can lead to permanent positions in time for the new academic year of 2023/24 The benefit of such roles enables suitable ECT’s to gain an insight to local schools and their culture before deciding what setting they would like to pursue in the future.

Requirements for an Early Careers Teacher

  • Have Qualified Teacher Status and either done your ECT years or looking to complete this.
  • Have completed your Initial Teacher Training.
  • Have knowledge and relevant experience of the National Curriculum for primary/secondary Key Stages.
  • Have recent and relevant of teaching experience in a primary/secondary setting.
  • Be able to identify and use effective techniques which will enable you to deliver engaging lessons.
  • Have a genuine desire to become a member of a team of dedicated teaching and support staff.
