Teach Agency are currently seeking to appoint suitably qualified Teaching Assistants within the St Neots area. We have a number of client schools that are experiencing a shortage of such staff due to absences within the school.

The role of a Teaching Assistant can be extremely varied depending on the nature of the requirement. You should therefore be adaptable & flexible in your approach.

The role of a Teaching Assistant could do any of the following:

  • Provide 1-1 support to a student with additional needs.
  • Provide support to a small group of students.
  • Work alongside the main class teacher to provide support to the whole class as needed.
  • Work in an SEN department to support several students.

Requirements:

  • Hold TA qualification or have experience working with young people.

  • Demonstrate an excellent understanding and commitment to Safeguarding.

We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic and creative Cover supervisors to start on a temporary basis, with the potential of progressing to permanent positions.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise the whole class during the absence of teachers, ensuring students are engaged in their learning activities and provide the best educational experience for students. You will also manage the class behaviour and provide feedback to the class teacher.

The role

Are you a qualified Secondary Teacher who is passionate about teaching and making a real difference to young lives?

Teach Agency are working with a number of Secondary Schools in and around the Huntingdon area of Cambridgeshire who are looking for teachers to start work as soon as possible.

This work can be anything from 1 day to 5 days a week and would suit qualified secondary teachers who are seeking flexible working or maybe seeking an income boost.

We are seeking to appoint a pool of secondary teachers across all subjects that are able to easily adapt as you maybe requited to cover up to 5 different subjects per day depending on the requirements of the school.

Are you a recent graduate looking for full or part time work in education?

Teach Agency are looking to appoint a pool of Graduate Teaching Assistants to join our successful supply organisation and be placed in our client Primary Schools based in and around Bedfordshire. This is a great opportunity to gain invaluable on-the-job experience at an entry level role before embarking on a PGCE.

As a  Graduate Teaching Assistant you will be required to work on a 1:1, small group or on a full class basis. The schools we work with vary from mainstream to SEN schools where behaviour can be challenging due to conditions such as ADHD, Autism, SEMH, Learning Difficulties and Mental Health Difficulties.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum 2:1 Degree.
  • Have a good standard of academics for GCSE's and A Levels.
  • Have the confidence to support students at any level of their education.
  • Have experience of working with children would be desirable.
  • Have SEN knowledge and experience would also be desirable.
